Here are two great articles about Meredith Kline- in my estimation, biblical theologian par excellence and a dude you simply have to know more about. His uncanny knack for drawing together deposits of overlooked detail in Scripture and the almost poetic overtones to his exegesis have been beyond inspiring to me. The second article is more recent in origin and was an eye catcher due to the fact that I literally was pondering sea monsters when I stumbled across it! The first is a poignant tribute to Kline’s life as an artist-exegete (a designation with which I am presently enamored!) and the second is a testament to the power of the sanctified imagination to synthesize data from the Bible’s metanarrative. Both are fantastic reads, so get thee hence and sink your imaginative teeth into this guy!
