Lovecraftian Beasties and Half the Cast of the Walking Dead Besides! (aka ‘The Mist’ Review)

Yes it does.

Mockingbird posted the final installment of Blake’s and my Halloween series today with our piece on The Mist, Frank Darabont’s creature feature adaptation of the Stephen King novella. Blake positively kills it in his portion and I take the opportunity to issue a blood earnest evangelistic plea in my addendum. I’m enormously proud of the piece and the series as a whole. Take the time to digest them and then go search out the implicit theology lurking i your favorite horror flicks!

  1. Love this movie! Love everything about it! King said he liked the filmed ending by Darabont as opposed to his own written ending. One of my favorite scenes is when they go over to the drug store for supplies and find the MP. It is a good view via the black and white version that comes with some of the Blu ray copies.
